This study aims to explore and analyze Quranic interpretations regarding the role of the father from a Quranic perspective, as well as to examine the significance of the father's role in shaping a child's character within the context of a long-distance marriage. This qualitative study employs library research, gathering data through documentary methods specifically by utilizing the writings and seminal works of others as references. Key sources supporting this research include the Holy Quran as the primary source, along with the exegesis works of Ibn Jarir al-Tabari (Tafsir al-Tabari), Buya Hamka (Tafsir al-Azhar), and Quraish Shihab (Tafsir al-Misbah). The study reveals numerous Quranic verses elucidating the ideal role of a father in educating his children to foster better character development. It highlights many narratives that serve as exemplary models for child-rearing. Consequently, a long-distance marriage is no longer a valid excuse for a father to neglect his participation in his child's upbringing.
